Changi Airport: Changing the Airport Game

The only available tickets for MNL – CGK were those that transited SIN. So we had no chance but to grab those tickets.

We arrived from Changi Airport at around 0930H and were planning to avail the free city tour but we had a problem about our baggage so we decided to just stay inside the airport. It was a long wait but Changi airport has a lot to offer. We roamed around the whole Terminal 2 after having a simple sumptuous meal at Soup Kitchen.

After checking in, we headed to the Terminal’s Boarding Area. Unlike most airports Changi offers more things in their Boarding areas than just the usual stores & restaurants. We toured the whole place.
First was the Orchid Garden, we had some pictures and enjoyed looking at the different kinds of orchids. Mom & Dad’s a fan of Orchids, we have some at home.

Then we decided to see the Sunflower garden, but then we can’t find the way to the garden but we passed by accidentally the Entertainment Deck. It was a cool experience. As if you’re transported to a space station/ high end computer shop & the seats were cozy that I actually wanted to tell my parents to just leave me there. Hahaha.

We then passed by the Street foods corner and went down to the GF again. We bought some souvenirs at the Singapore Zoo stall and explored the rest of the GF. Our next stop was the Enchanted Garden. It has a mystical feel with it with sounds of birds & gushing water.

We really enjoyed our 6 hr lay over Singapore despite staying inside Changi Airport. It was really an experience of a life time. Changi is truly the best airport I have been so far and will really set high standards for me, especially since they had a star wars themed airport during our stay ;) (Not a big fan tho, but still it was COOL!)
